This first video is brought to you by an up-and-coming Chicago band called Office. The track is called “Oh My” and the music video is wackier than hell.
This next video is from sleeper-band-of-the-year, Tacks, The Boy Disaster. I heard their song, “Matilda,” a while ago, but I never knew they had an EP full of hits, not to mention some incredibly well-done music videos. This EP, titled Oh Beatrice, has been out since May, but I’m only just now hearing all the buzz about this band. Here is their video for the awesome song (which is sure to make it onto the next comp), “Frozen Feet.” And if you like this vid, then be sure to check out their other one, too.

I have to tell the truth. I actually made Comp 5 for Jenna sometime around…. I can’t remember, mid-August? But anyway, it had been around since longer than Sep 8th. So don’t expect two comps to come out within one week of each other like this very often, is all I’m sayin’. Sorry, I realize that’s a confusing sentence.

Tarentel – All Things Vibrations

Well I guess that didnt take long (for this site to grow into other things, like video posts and bla bla bla). But this video by Blue States for the song, “Allies,” is awesome. And their album, First Steps Into… is pretty awesome as well.

Comps = compilations. Jenna = my bff. I’m starting at Comp 5 because I’ve already given four (or thereabouts) comps to Jenna. I’m not going to upload those first four though because they’re already outdated. So I’m starting at the most recent, Comp 5. I don’t know how often, but I’m gonna upload all future comps4jenna on this site. The primary reason being that I moved to Chicago and Jenna’s still in my hometown, Riverview, MI, and I won’t be going there very often and mail’s too inconvenient in this age of technology. Not that figuring out podcasts was easy… But anyway, here we are. comps4jenna will serve as comps for Jenna, and it’ll also be the music blog that I always wanted to host. This site may eventually grow into other things too. I may upload singles and videos. I’m not sure yet. One thing I’ll definitely do is, if I ever become a dj, I’ll upload my gigs’ playlists. Also, this site’s hosting, domain name, etc etc are all subject to change, cuz I’m still a n00b at this stuff. So without further… ado, or adieu, or a due?
