Comps = compilations. Jenna = my bff. I’m starting at Comp 5 because I’ve already given four (or thereabouts) comps to Jenna. I’m not going to upload those first four though because they’re already outdated. So I’m starting at the most recent, Comp 5. I don’t know how often, but I’m gonna upload all future comps4jenna on this site. The primary reason being that I moved to Chicago and Jenna’s still in my hometown, Riverview, MI, and I won’t be going there very often and mail’s too inconvenient in this age of technology. Not that figuring out podcasts was easy… But anyway, here we are. comps4jenna will serve as comps for Jenna, and it’ll also be the music blog that I always wanted to host. This site may eventually grow into other things too. I may upload singles and videos. I’m not sure yet. One thing I’ll definitely do is, if I ever become a dj, I’ll upload my gigs’ playlists. Also, this site’s hosting, domain name, etc etc are all subject to change, cuz I’m still a n00b at this stuff. So without further… ado, or adieu, or a due?     Where’d that Ultraviolet track come from? I heard it at Exit festival and have been wondering about it. I think Kissy Sell Out played it…

    The Sky Patrol is from Memphis, Tennessee. The Ultraviolet Catastrophe single was released by the Canadian label, Tide Pool. You can purchase it here. You can get it in mp3 or wav format, and even get it in parts and loops. So, I guess its open for other DJs to take and play with it. I’d never heard of Kissy Sell Out before, but I’m digging his myspace page.

    Where are you from? And how did you find this blog? If you don’t mind me asking.

    I’ve come across it randomly in my search for music reviews, samples, clips and such. I’m enjoying the comps4jenna blog a lot. When I saw UItraviolet by sky patrol, I flipped. It’s awesome! Thanks!
